۸ سيپٽمبر ۱۹۵۳ تي اڳوڻي ضلعي لاڙڪاڻي ۽ هاڻوڪي ضلعي قمبر شهدادڪوٽ جي شهر نصيرآباد ۾ جنم ورتو. ۱۹۷۸ ۾ هن زرعي يونيورسٽي جي فيڪلٽي آف اينيمل هسبنڊري اينڊ وٽرينري سائنسز مان ڊي وي ايم جي ڊگري مڪمل ڪئي. ۽ ۱۹۸۱ ۾ فيلوشپ لاءِ جارج ٽائون يونيورسٽي واشنگٽن لاءِ آمريڪا روانو ٿيو. جتي ڪولمبيا مسوري، ۽ آئيوا يونيورسٽي ۾آمريڪا ۾ پي ايڇ ڊي ۽ پوسٽ ڊاڪٽوريٽ ڪئي. پنھنجي ڪيرئير دوران هُن سنڌ حڪومت ۾ بطور وٽرينرين، ايف اي او ۾ ريسرچ آفيسر ۽ گڏيل قومن جي ترقياتي پروگرام ۾ ڪنسلسٽنٽ طور خدمتون انجام ڏنيون. ڊاڪٽر ڪاٺيو آمريڪا ۾ هوندي بہ سنڌ سميت ملڪ جي لاءِ وڏيون خدمتون انجام ڏيندو رهيو. هن سڄي عمر سنڌ زرعي يونيورسٽي جي گريجوئيٽس کي نہ وساريو ۽ لڳاتار شاگردن کي وٽرينري بابت جديد ٽيڪنالوجي توڙي ليبارٽري ۽ سرجري جو ڪم سيکارڻ لاءِ ايندو رهيو، ڊاڪٽر عنايت ڪاٺيو آمريڪا ۾ بہ ملڪ جي لاءِ اهم ڪارناما انجام ڏنا، آمريڪا جي مختلف ادارن ۾ جانورن جي ڀلائي ۽ ترقي واري وارن منصوبن ۾ خدمتون انجام ڏيندو هو، هو هڪ قابل وٽرينري ماهر هو، جنھن دنيا ۾ پھريون ڀيرو نانگ جي سرجري ڪري نالو ڪمايو، جنھن جي پوري دنيا تعريف ڪري رهي آهي.

هو پنھنجي فيلڊ ۾ ماھر هو، جنھن هن پوري دنيا ۾ نالو ڪمايو. اها پڻ فخر جوڳي ڳالھ آهي تہ سنڌ جي ننڍڙي شھر نصيرآباد جو ڊاڪٽر عنايت نيشنل جيوگرافيڪل چئنل جو ڪنسلٽنٽ ۽ حصو هو.

وٽرنري سائنسز ۾ عالمي شهرت رکندڙ سنڌ زرعي يونيورسٽي جو گريجوئيٽ ڊاڪٽر عنايت الله ڪاٺيو امريڪا ۾ لاڏاڻو ڪري ويو، زرعي يونيورسٽي جي وائيس چانسلر پاران ڏک جو اظهار، رپورٽ موجب سنڌ زرعي يونيورسٽي ٽنڊوڄام جو گريجوئيٽ سنڌ ڄائو ۽ آمريڪا ۾ مقيم وٽرينري جو عالمي ماهر ڊاڪٽر عنايت الله ڪاٺيو، آمريڪا ۾ دل جي بيماري سبب ۶۹ سالن جي ڄمار ۾ لاڏاڻو ڪري ويو آهي، مليل ڄاڻ موجب ڊاڪٽر ڪاٺيو ۸ سيپٽمبر ۱۹۵۳ تي ضلعي لاڙڪاڻي جي شهر نصيرآباد ۾ جنم ورتو، ۱۹۷۸ ۾ هن زرعي يونيورسٽي جي فيڪلٽي آف اينيمل هسبنڊري اينڊ وٽرينري سائنسز مان ڊي وي ايم جي ڊگري مڪمل ڪئي، ۽ ۱۹۸۱ ۾ فيلوشپ لاءِ جارج ٽائون يونيورسٽي واشنگٽن لاءِ آمريڪا روانو ٿيو، جتي ڪولمبيا مسوري، ۽ آئيوا يونيورسٽي ۾آمريڪا ۾ پي ايڇ ڊي ۽ پوسٽ ڊاڪٽوريٽ ڪئي، پنهنجي ڪيرئير دوران هن سنڌ حڪومت ۾ بطور وٽرينرين، ايف اي او ۾ ريسرچ آفيسر ۽ گڏيل قومن جي ترقياتي پروگرام ۾ ڪنسلسٽنٽ طور خدمتون انجام ڏنيون، ٻئي طرف سنڌ زرعي يونيورسٽي جي وائيس چانسلر ڊاڪٽر فتح مري، ڊاڪٽر عنايت الله ڪاٺيو جي لاڏاڻي کي وٽرينري دنيا لاءِ وڏو نقصان قرار ڏيندي چيو ته ڊاڪٽر ڪاٺيو آمريڪا ۾ هوندي به سنڌ سميت ملڪ جي لاءِ وڏيون خدمتون انجام ڏيندو رهيو، هن سڄي عمر ۾ سنڌ زرعي يونيورسٽي جي گريجوئيٽس کي نه وساريو ۽ لڳاتار شاگردن کي وٽرينري بابت جديد ٽيڪنالوجي توڙي ليبارٽري ۽ سرجري جو ڪم سيکارڻ لاءِ ايندو رهيو، هن چيو ته ڊاڪٽر ڪاٺيو آمريڪا ۾ به ملڪ جي لاءِ اهم ڪارناما انجام ڏنا، آمريڪا جي مختلف ادارن ۾ جانورن جي ڀلائي ۽ ترقي واري وارن منصوبن ۾ خدمتون انجام ڏيندو هو، هو هڪ قابل وٽرينري ماهر هو، جنهن جي دنيا متعرف هئي، سندس لاڏاڻي تي سندس پوئنيرن سان تعزيت ڪندي چيو ته ڊاڪٽر ڪاٺيو جي لاڏاڻي بعد سندس ڪمي وڏي وقت تائين محسوس ٿيندي رهندي.

Obituary of Inayat Kathio

Dr. Inayat Kathio, 69, of Yatesville, passed away Friday evening January 6th, 2023 in Allied Hospice, Wilkes-Barre surrounded by his family.

Born in Nasseerabad, Pakistan he was a son of the late Hidayatullah Kathio and Kaz Bano.  Inayat completed his DVM degree from the Faulty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences of Sindh Agriculture University in 1978.

In 1981, he went to Washington for a fellowship and completed his Ph.D. and post-doctorate from Georgetown University, Missouri, Columbia University and Iowa University.  He served as a veterinarian in the Sindh government as an FAO research officer and consultant in the United Nations Development Program.

Dr. Kathio used to write scientific articles in international newspapers and participate in veterinary science programs on various tv channels, including Fox TV, Hazelton TV, Philadelphia TV, PAX TV.

He also had the status of a Pakistani diplomat due to close relations with the US and Pakistani high political leaders.

Inayat has had animal clinics Mexico since 2002 and Pittston since 1992, where he used to treat the pets of famous American people including Hilary Clinton.

Dr. Kathio was the owner of the Pittston Animal Hospital.

The Vice-Chancellor, Sindh Agricultural University, Tando Jam Dr. Fateh Marri termed the death of Dr. Kathio as a great loss to the veterinary world and said that despite being in America, Dr. Kathio rendered great services to the country including Sindh.

Dr. Kathio taught the students of Sindh Agricultural University about the development of veterinary sciences in the world, modern technology as well as laboratory and surgical work during his visit to SAU, and he continued to serve in animal welfare and development projects in the world through various international institutions.

Dr. Kathio was an eminent veterinary expert and known all over the world.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Kifayatullah Kathio and Akramullah Kathio.

Inayat is survived by his companion, Kim Lussi of Jenkins Twp., daughters McKayla Kathio, Jenkins Twp., Maura Kathio, Yatesville, brother, Inamullah Kathio, sisters, Razia Kathio, Ruqiya Kathio, Nighat Kulsoom Kathio, Rabia Baloch, also his extended family Lou and Maryann Lussi, Jenkins Twp., Louis Lussi and his wife Maureen, Duryea, Edward Lussi and wife Lisa, Florida, and several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:30am from the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Avenue, West Pittston with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Joseph Marello Parish at 237 William Street, Pittston.   Interment to follow in St. Rocco’s cemetery, Pittston Twp.   Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the viewing for Inayat on Wednesday from 4pm until 8pm at the Funeral Home.

2002 Own, three Animal Hospitals in USA. Own three Animal Hospitals in Pakistan. These hospitals provide services free of charge. Funds provided by Pittston Animal Hospital.

Work In Mexico:

Help establish animal hospital and spay neuter clinic in Cozumel.

Modernize and operate spay neuter clinic for Municipal of Cancun.

Periodically visit Mexico and show various surgical and Diagnostic procedures to Mexican veterinarian.
Charity work for Mexican dogs, cats, birds, horses, sea and wild life.

United Nations Work:

Teach in veterinary schools to faculty and students.

Advise government for livestock needs and improved methods. Advise fast source of animal protein for human consumption and more

Disseminate improved technology in the field of veterinary medicine to developing countries.

Shelter Work:

Veterinarian for Society for Prevention of Cruelty to animals (SPCA).

Established Spay and neuter clinic in Clearfield County SPCA.

Veterinarian for shelter there. Valley Cat Resque. Veterinarian for this resque.

Community Work:

Provide free of charge veterinary services to poor pet owners and help unowned injured animals.

Television Shows:

Hazleton TV, Fox TV, Philadelphia TV and PAX TV. Have show called Pet's Best Friend. This is an educational show for public so they can understand the needs of animals and be responsible pet owners.
